Mitiga International Airport witnessed on Saturday, April 25, 2026, the launch of Fly Al-Sham’s first flight. The flight was received by the Minister of Tourism and Traditional Industries, the Libyan Ambassador to the Syrian Arab Republic, the Director-General of the Libyan Ground Services Company, the Director of Security at the Civil Aviation Authority, the Deputy of Fly Al-Sham, and the accompanying company delegation who arrived on board the flight, along with a number of representatives from security and government agencies and businesspeople.
The Minister of Tourism and Traditional Industries delivered a welcoming speech to the delegation, emphasizing the importance of this step in strengthening cooperation and expanding international destinations.
