On Wednesday, April 29, 2026, the Director-General of the Libyan Ground Services Company and the Director of Security at the Civil Aviation Authority received the Regional Director of Air Algérie, accompanied by a representative from the Embassy of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, as part of efforts to enhance joint cooperation between the two sides.
The guests conducted a visit to Mitiga International Airport, where they were received by the airport’s Director-General and the Deputy Director-General, who welcomed them and emphasized the importance of this visit in supporting bilateral relations in the field of civil aviation.
They were also accompanied during the visit by several department directors, the Deputy Director, as well as representatives of various security agencies, where they were briefed on the different facilities and services provided. This reflects a strong commitment to developing infrastructure and enhancing safety and quality standards.
