Starting May 1, 2026, Air Cairo will operate four weekly scheduled flights from Cairo to Tripoli (Mitiga Airport) on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.
This step strengthens air transport links between Libya and Egypt and underscores the Libyan Ground Handling Company’s commitment to enhancing ground handling services and supporting the opening of Libyan airports to international connectivity.
Both companies look forward to achieving joint successes that will contribute to the development of the civil aviation sector in both countries and further strengthen aviation cooperation between Libya and Egypt.
