During this meeting a number of issues were discussed including the developments in African aviation industry, the coordination of training programs through the ideal use of currently available training centres in the African continent.

Libyan Airlines strengthens relationship with On Air.

Libyan Airlines and OnAir today announced an agreement to install full SwiftBroadband Mobile OnAir and WiFi Internet OnAir inflight passenger communications services aboard their fleet of brand-new long-range Airbus A330 aircraft. Libyan Airlines are expecting delivery of the first A330 in June 2011.

Petro Air takes quick delivery of Embraer E-170s.

Libya's National Oil Corporation (NOC) has added two Embraer E-170s to its fleet as part of a new deal which also includes options for two E-190s.
Petro Air took delivery of the two new 76-seat E-170s - valued at $66.8m at the end of last month according to an announcement today by the Brazilian manufacturer. The company said that the decision was only made at the start of this year.
